Probably the Longest Entry I'll Ever Make
Well, everybody's been asking me this question lately, why did I have myself banned from
MNI last Wednesday?
To preface this entry, let me say that it is just time to move on. There are great things in life, but you can't have them forever.
So, onto why.
As you all probably know I applied for the Groundskeeper position there and I know that I am one of the better applicants (and if you don't believe me, that's absolute bullshit). Anyways, I filled out the application and sent it in, being so close-minded, I didn't think to re-read the application. I awaited the results and I probably would still be a user if somebody didn't give me the link to the testing grounds. I clicked on 'Members' at the top and saw that FusedFox, Godfather, and Redfrog were all users with 'Groundskeeper' as their title. No harm there, 3 out of the 4 are there. I checked my PM box and noticed it was 100% full.
"Oh." I thought. "They just couldn't send me the PM, lemme clear a few messages for space."
I waited, and waited. Still, no PM, and my inbox at Gmail didn't have any new messages. So, I went to the Testing Ground and clicked on Members. I noticed something very strange there, a new user. I clicked to see their profile and saw 'Groundskeeper' as their title.
"Fuck," I said aloud.
I was pissed, but somehow glad in a way. I guess you could say I went a little crazy that night, and as so, I posted a message in the Dreamingfifi thread.
'Goodbye, Fifi.
And hello new hirees, including so and so here, and there.
How do I know all of this?

And I requested to be banned, which has been fulfilled. Last night, I talked about this with Nels, Viresse, and Kadi and I've told them all the same thing: I should have been hired.
I am probably more computer 1337 than 95% of the users on MNI and even more helpful than a lot of them. The only thing is, I don't check anything over, as in my application I sent...

I missed that question. The answer was 72x300 pixels.
The thing is/was, being a student isn't good enough for me, I need more. And that opportunity to have that changed came when I saw that I could apply for Groundskeeper. It was the perfect position for me, and I when I can't make a job that is perfect for me, I take that to heart, which I know is silly, but hey, I'm me. As I said before, I was pissed/insane and posted the link.
Thus, having me banned.
